Phuket - Phang Nga Bay Tour

The third day in Phuket started early with a trip to Phang Nga Bay. I can say this is one of the very lazy trip I ever had. Everything also very cincai and simple.  

 

Went to Hong Island and Panak Island to do canoeing through natural sea caves and under hanging rocks. Too relaxed till I was so sleepy in the canoe. Hahaha…

 

 

James Bond Island is not really called "James Bond". It is just an island that’s turned into a hotspot named after the filming of James Bond here... Nothing much to do here as too crowded with tourists.

I got this flower from the canoe guy. Think most of them are good with their hand craft skills.

 

 

Also go to Bangla Road which is a famous destination for tourists. You will not see Bangla (maybe a few), but tourists, ladyboys, pole dance, alcohol, nightclub, bar, bar and bar….

 

 

One thing I like about traveling is when you travel, you have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, locals and other travellers alike. I met people from different countries and we shared stories. Traveling is always an adventure. It doesn’t matter a budget travel or luxury travel – there is always an adventure to be had. Yay, I like adventure :)

 

Phuket – Coral Island

I skipped the very popular Phi Phi Island as I want to do more activity, something fun and adventurous.

I opted for the Coral Island 1 day tour as I always want to do parasailing and sea-walking.

The van picked us up then we went non-stop to Chalong pier. Once at the pier everyone was given a life jacket and led to the boat. It took about 15 minutes to reach the island.

Coral Island has beautiful beach. See the clear water and smooth sand… It was so beautiful :)

 

 

I went for sea-walking first. No photo to share as I did not bring along the camera so that I can enjoy the fullest without any burden.

I was equipped like this to walk on the sea bed. An oxygen mask was put on and we can normally breathe in it. Be sure to keep your head vertical all the time.

I was surrounded by fishes. and I never thought I am fish food until I got fish bite on my fingers and palm when I was feeding them with breads wtf.

Went snorkelling but nothing much to see. A bit of disappointment here. The local told us that it is because getting more and more tourist and boats come here and the coral now is wiped out. Not so impressive actually.

Then I went for parasailing. It was fun!! The ride was too short for me to really watch the beautiful scenery but is worth experiencing if not done before.

After lunch, I just relaxed on the beach chairs, seeing other people posing for photos. Damn enjoying to watch people do funny things.

Feel bored and went for tattoo-drawing. See what I got for myself.

 

 

I enjoyed myself very much in the Coral Island.
I love new things.
The trip cost 3000baht inclusive lunch, snorkeling equipment, parasailing and sea-walking.

 

Phuket – Phuket FantaSea

Just come back from Phuket.

Okay, I start with Phuket FantaSea which located at Kamala Beach. The cost is 2000baht per person including buffet dinner and transfer from hotel (we got promotion price from Phuket Sea Smile Tour & Travel).

 

Phuket Fantasea is actually a nighttime Thai cultural theme park. I guess kids will like this place very much.

The Palace of Elephants is the very big theatre which shows Thai culture and legends. The 1 hour plus performance was quite interesting as you will see trained animals moving around on the stage, magic show, cultural dances, special effects and also the very amazing acrobatic. I was so impressed with the trapeze artists where they swing high up in the sky wearing glow-in-the-dark costumes.

We also had buffet dinner in the Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant that seats 4,000 guests

If you are going to Phuket, you may visit this place at least once as it is can be consider a pretty good attraction spot especially for kids.
