no longer an intern

Hello!
Internship has ended.
4 months here at ACKL is well worth.
New environment, new challenges, new people, new things
Tasks given aren’t overload and everyday I eat as part of my job. Hehehe
It’s a love hate relationship.
I like to taste the products, but I hate it when too many products need to be tasted.
Overall, I had gained experience and met inspiring people
Discovered my strength and improved my weakness to grow into a competitive person

Anyway, thanks to everything given by colleagues throughout the internship.
Jokes, stories, gossips, scandals, advices, scolding and etc
All these are now memories.
Thanks to all the farewell treats from colleagues from my own dept. and also other dept.
Didn’t know they actually like me and care for me.

Just finished my internship report and will submit to the industrial supervisor tomorrow.
Next week I’m going back to UMT for presentation and say goodbye to student life.
ahhh.....this is life.

It means April.
It’s been 7 weeks at work.
Today we conducted sensory evaluation of new products before launch.
Super-tasters were selected from company’s staffs. They came to eat and gave comments.
I definitely cannot be a super-taster because I can’t even tell which barley drink has original flavour and which has pandan flavour.
I also tasted the new products after the session has ended, and gave not professional comments. Hehe
Manager also gave bottles of Sambazon Acai Berries juice to try.
Wooo…I’m Loving It!!! please bring them into Malaysia~
  
I had cheese cake and pudding for tea today. staffs treat! As farewell to another trainee who will finish her internship tomorrow. when we were busy makan, my manager was busy with works #likealousai in her office until no time to eat… so paiseh
Anyway, we will lunch at Pizza Hut tomorrow…for the new Triple Chicken Sensation Pizza! Hehehe :)

Got a whole stack of sauces samples on the cupboard that need to be tested by tomorrow. Next week will work in warehouse again and lecturer will come to evaluate my internship performance. hmmm....i am looking forward to the public holiday for the coronation of new YDPA :)

a-simple-hello-and-a-smile

Hello, lack of updates...


FYI, I’m now an intern in the QA department of a well-known canned food products company in the country. Its logo is a rooster, but no any product is manufactured by chicken. Haha :) Guess guess guess~ What I do is assure the products are in acceptance standards before release them to the market. I feel tension when conducting analysis and attribute tests...need full concentration and a very clear head. But no worries... practice will make perfect.

It’s been a month I’m working an 8.30-5.30 job in the lab. Sometimes there’s a whole stack of products waiting to be checked...sometimes there’s nothing to do... Somehow, I get bored easily for repeating same thing. I love doing a lot of things, different things.. I want to do more, see more, and learn more. Well, since the learning opportunities provided are just fine, guess I have to create opportunities for myself to get more.


First thing to do is smile and greet everyone I meet. A simple “hello” and a smile is the best manner to whomever you don’t know. I happen to open the main door for a staff while I was faxing some documents at the front desk. I greeted him with a smile. I thought he was one of the staff here, aiyooo why did not bring access card huh?! but later he came to the lab for product testing, turned out to be the big boss omg.... Fuhhh, luckily I did not show weary face to him!!~

So the a-simple-hello-and-a-smile theory works!!! and I started to know more people from other departments.. I believe this very little thing I do everyday will shape a better future of mine in this company. 5 more months to spend in this place lehh... anyone could bring me good fortune~


Btw, I am planning to create a new mandarin blog... writing about food, in a babyish kiddiewinkie way. Hehe~ The “construction” is still in progress... waiting for more ideas to come..and this is the dinner I had just now, with all product samples from the company :)

Internship started

I started internship this week.
I was so nervous and worried about not able to meet expectation…especially when it comes to lab work. I am so clumsy, careless…and so poor in it (yet I don’t know why I chose this field)
and that’s exactly what they want me to do…swt~

It’s all good now :)
I am working in the Quality Assurance Department.
I conduct physical checking and attribute testing on various products in these days.
Everything seems so new to me.
Everyday I make mistakes yet I’ve learned so much from these mistakes…

As for living, luckily there’s no heavy traffic in the morning and after work. No chance to watch sunrise and sunset in the car.
But there’s heavy HUMAN traffic during makan time and it’s quite awkward to eat alone :(
No internet connection to save living expenses and no “patrolling” to save petrol.

There is still a long journey to travel and there’s much more to learn.
All the hard days will be the stepping-stone to a better life
All circumstances are the process of going from juvenility to maturity
I am learning to accept it, be thankful and be stronger.

I am an intern

All my life is going to be changed next week.


I gonna start internship next week.
I gonna move in the rented room and stay with others under the same roof.
I gonna wake up early for work.
I gonna work with others in the real industry.
I gonna pay room rental, feed my car, feed the toll gates and feed my stomach, with that ‘sikit-sikit saja’ monthly allowance
I gonna have a very good financial planning to cover all these expenses (have to think twice to subscribe a broadband somemore…swt).
I gonna have a good attitude to mingle with people.
I gonna be very alert all day and night, in this completely new and strange city for me.


STRESS!!


I was so nervous and ganjiong!
I have no idea how could I survive.
I guess I shouldn’t think too much.
