When talk about Ipoh, few things come to my mind.
Ipoh Nga-choy-gai (bean sprout and chicken), Ipoh Chicken Hor-fun, Ipoh white coffee, Ipoh pomelo, Ipoh cave temples and Ipoh lengchai lenglui.
When I was in Teluk Intan, Ipoh is just 1½ hour away. If you can drive very fast, it only takes an hour. When I was a kid, parents brought me there to shop for nice pretty colorful new dresses. First, eat DimSum. Then go shopping. Then lunch. After lunch, go to Ipoh Old Town drink Ipoh Old Town white coffee. Then byebye. Before that, sometimes buy pomelo, sometimes chicken-curry-bread, sometimes salted-chicken.
When I was in high school, I went there with friends for bowling, movie (before TI has a cinema) and shopping during holidays, by bus!! It was a big group like about 15-20 people. I remember the time we chased for the town bus to back to bus terminal, begged bus driver to wait for the others who stuck in traffic jam. Hahahaha, those days when we were young!!! So bersemangat~
But I can’t remember did my parents bring me to any Ipoh caves before. Oh maybe I was too young at that time?
This time I don’t want others, I only want caves!!

Wedding, a celebration of LOVE
Mission: To attend a wedding ceremony
Venue: Teluk Intan, Perak
Date: a weekend
Who’s getting married: 2-years form teacher during high school, Ms.Kee (before she get married)
I was invited to attend a buffet dinner before the actual wedding day. There I met my friends and had a nice talk with all of them. Of course I was glad to see Miss Kee finally arrived in her Chinese wedding dress and turned into a Missus (Mrs).

Went to Kampar last week...
purposely for beef noodles, which is Ngau-Lam-Min in Cantonese.
I never eat beef noodles before, as I can’t find any stall sells it in Teluk Intan.
The soup is very delicious, beef meatball very nice, beef is al dente!!~
Just to tell you Kampar is also famous for its curry chicken bun (min-bao-gai) from Yau Kee.
Also went wandering around Kampar town, TESCO and UTAR/KTAR, to kill some times.

Teluk Intan
It's time to leave the town, very soon.....by these few days or maybe a week.
This is the place I was born and raised : Teluk Intan.
If you don’t know where Teluk Intan is and you never hear anything about it, let me tell you what we have here.
You can find the detailed history of Teluk Intan from Wikipedia and many other websites. So, I’m not going to tell more about that.
Teluk Intan is famous for the one and only leaning tower in the country. Some say the second leaning tower in the world after Pisa in Italy.
TAHDAH! This pagoda-like building is the symbolic landmark of Teluk Intan, the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan. It is actually slightly tilting only, but sometimes I don’t even see it is tilted~
This is a clock tower, also a water tower in the past. Now, the clock still struck every hour, like a cuckoo clock...hehe! The tank no longer stores water but had turned into a wishing well!

I kissed the tower last year, when I’m still in black!

Funs in Giant TI

Rumah Ngah Ibrahim a.k.a Museum Matang是我去过最开放的博物馆
