Food @ Haji Samuri Kajang Satay

Semester break has come to an end. Before I go back to Kuala Terengganu to start my 6th semester, I went for the famous Kajang Satay. Knowing that Haji Samuri is the most popular satay restaurant in Kajang, it’s not too hard and not too far to reach Kajang town from my place, with the very intelligent WayWay GPS navigator.

One thing I must say, there’s a lot of cars in Kajang town itself!!! Luckily I had eat something before this, if not I will cry in the car....Cry for hunger!

Haji Samuri is really a big restaurant, with two floors, like a complex.

I asked my mom, “waaa, bakar satay until got satay complex eh, somemore got branch one eh, so easy to earn meh?”

When we reached was only 6 something in the evening but the place was already packed. People mountain people sea a!! hahaha :)

We ordered chicken satays and beef satays.
I want mutton satay, but sold out! Herm~ :(

Ketupat and cucumbers

Chicken satay with peanut sauce. Dip and eat!

Overall not bad, but not to say very nice also. I think it’s a little overrated, isn’t it? Or maybe my problem cause I’m not a satay lover.....I always doubt the hygiene level of satay shops, did they recycle the sauce (kuah) and reuse the satay sticks...?

We don’t know. And I hope it's not for Haji Samuri.

I've always been a huge fan of satay. In fact, this post made me drool for a second. Not until you write about the level of hygiene in most satay stalls. That made me think for a second! =S
