A staff from sports unit I knew during my past squash coaching clinic gave me a call and asked me to join him to Sabah for a dinner in the weekend.
Whoa!! LOA LOA LOA!!
So I said yes and finished all the assignments before I leave. First time being so motivated to arrange jobs and complete all the works before the others start doing theirs. Hahaha! I even brought notes to study for test.
Studying in the waiting hall as return flight was delayed. I studied in the plane too. Rajin-sekali!
This is a really special trip.
First, travel with strangers. I don’t know my travel mates except for the squash boy. But we are not friends, just know the face but never say hi. And I actually not really close with the staff. I wonder why he chose me.
Second, I am the only Chinese among 6 of us. Very distinctive~
Third, sport-hater like me is going for a national level sport event. Huh...RIDICULOUS but TRUE!
We checked-in the sports hostel. Lame to the max. Well, I keep reminding myself no complain to foc stuffs. Accept it!!
We have 3 hours for free activities. So we got a van and go explore the city in this short time.
The first place we went is the market and that’s the place we went the most =P
I really love the food.
Left: The Sabah biscuits and snacks, kuih cincin and ball shaped crackers keropok amplang. Crispy gila!!
This is the closer look of kuih cincin and the ball crackers
The prawns and squids......so large!! See the lobster!!!
I saw this ABC with macaroni. Wow...great combination! Never thought can eat ABC together with macaroni.
Okay, time to back and prepare for the dinner.
