The Monkey Business & The Crocodile Tears

Jeng jeng~~ Actually this post has nothing to do with any silly monkey business and insincere crocodile tears. It's literally about monkey and crocodile. Actually is not monkey also, because they are apes (orangutan)

First, I’ll bring you to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre aka Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.

We went there at 8am so that we can catch up with the first feeding session at 9am. It’s about 30 minutes away from Kuching and the entrance fee was RM3 but we paid RM1.50 only for student price. Haha!

Before we went to watch the feeding, we were so lucky to see Delima, the Hot Mama came out for a walk with her daughter.

She is the Hot Mama because she is very HOT, in temper~ she has a bad record with the most attack case.
She didn’t want to bother us, so she showed us her ass =.=

Then Seduku, the Grandmother came out also. She is the oldest orangutan in this wildlife centre.

Then we went in the jungle to the feeding site. We waited for about half an hour still didn’t see any orangutan for food. Perhaps August is the fruiting season, so they can actually find their own in the jungle and don’t need us to feed them.

Thought we were unlucky, but actually we were super lucky.

We left the feeding site and went back to the gathering area.

Ritchie Ren, the Dominant male was eating bananas and coconuts there. Didn't expect will see Ritchie.

He is really huge, and he can eat a lot!!!! After watching for 30 minutes, Ritchie was still NONSTOP eating! I wonder how many kilos of bananas he eats per day.

Look like KingKong~
There were also some unknown orangutans swinging through the trees

And pretend to be a red fireball or maybe a red fur-ball~ hahaha!!

We also went to Jong’s Crocodile Farm which is near to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. RM16 for an adult.

Of course we came here to see crocodiles, and the highlight is the jumping crocodile show at 11am and 3pm.

The farm hands rang a bell and make announcement before the feeding session. I guess all the crocodiles know their feeding time, they all rushing to the feeding station, open their jaws super widely and wait for the meat. So smart huh~

For the jumping crocodile show, haha... crocodiles don't jump okay?!! The farm hands dangled pieces of meat on the wire, then winched it down to the middle of the pond. They wagged the meat like bouncing up and down to attract the crocodiles's attention, and to play with them.

They aimed for the meat, then waited for the right moment to pounce on the meat, and then they made the final leap!! If lucky enough, got the meat...or else, Hi Crocodiles, hold your tears, don't cry, please try again next time okay?

The crocodiles were really fast and fierce. At one moment when the crocodile swam to us, I was so afraid that it will leap on the land, break the fence and eat me up... but some were so dumb. They swam slow slow and looked so lembab (eih...lembab or lembap?)

Crocodile with no tail. Look like a cicak isn’t it? Haha XD

The famous Sarawakian man-eater's Bujang Senang's skull which feeds on paper money. Wahhhh...!!!! why display box can turn into a money box one har? So clever to make money!

Alright, that's all for the monkey ape business and the crocodile tears.

Anyway, I really love the hair color of the orangutans. Looked so natural and shining shining under the sun...

Next time, I want to ask my hairdresser to give me OrangUtan color. Hohoho =)

Cheers ^ Cheer!!!!
