Breakaway to Sg. Lembing – Rainbow Waterfall (Day 2)

Last year, when Isabella and I came to Sg.Lembing, my friend Hooi brought us to the Rainbow Waterfall after a hike to Panorama Hill. We actually wanted to enter the waterfall without a guide, but we didn’t know the path was so rocky and muddy, somemore have to cross stream (the aftermath of never find information of the place before we come). With his dad’s luxurious car, we cancelled the trip and turned back. But we found the very special Hot Spring and saw some deer~ hahaha!!

Why Rainbow Waterfall? According to previous studies, the tiny water droplets from this high waterfall will create a rainbow effect when the sunrise rays shine on it. Hence, this waterfall got its colorful name for this phenomenon. Rainbow colour, my favourite colour, yay!!

Since getting to the place was not an easy way, this time we hired a guide. We woke up very early to get ready to Rainbow Waterfall. Thanks to the Universe, NO RAIN!! Our 4-wheels jeep came to pick us up at 5.30am in front of the place we stayed.

We went to the market for breakfast first. We had the famous Yong Tau Fu as light breakfast.

After that, all of us boarded the jeep and start the journey on the rocky and muddy path. It’s fun when all of us talked crap and nonsense along the way, full of laughter.

The journey was about an hour to reach the starting point of the waterfall. Then we crossed the river and we started trekking to the waterfall. It took around 40 minutes to reach.

Everyone was excited to see the rainbow.

The guides told us that we were lucky because it’s been a few days the rainbow didn’t appear. We were really super lucky. The rainbow appeared once we reached. It only appeared for about 20 minutes and never come out anymore.

Luckily manage to see the rainbow and took some photos with it, then some went for swimming, some continued their camwhore session, some enjoying the nice scenery of the waterfall, some chitchatting...everyone enjoyed the time at the waterfall!

chuchuchuchuchu..lovely rainbow is coming out from my mouth

hiao pose with the rainbow

My samseng members went travel separately. All of us were given a mission to bring back photos of ugly faces, posing 205 at different places we went and did some crazy acts during the trip.

don't wanna spoil her market, so I make myself ugly enough already :)

can you see 205 with the stones arrangement?

For Rainbow waterfall, mission accomplished.

We were provided lunch in this nice scenery place. Instant noodles and drinks cooked with mountain water!

They were so smart to make a “counter” with the large rocks and logs.

I was bored, so I chat with the guides. So happy to speak in Cantonese.

After all the eat and drink and camwhore, we left the waterfall at around 11am and trekked back.

He was not the guide we hired, but both us takut jatuh mati and followed him down

He gave us some “balls” to play. We called them lollipop-bombs!
very qikek and ganjiong playing with them~

DON'T FIRE ME!!!!

It rained when we went back and it rained for the whole day. Fuhhh...thanks to the Universe for bringing the rain only after our trek.

Although already set up the shelter, I sat at the front row, the raindrops keep hitting on me from front. I was like riding a motorbike in the rain with a open face helmet, or maybe riding on a horse in the rain without wearing a rain hat, some more have to dodge the long weeds, leaves and branches from the trees. hahaha XD But, this ride was fast and fun to hell.

Woohoo...finally went up to Rainbow Waterfall. Worth it~
