Farewell

It almost feels like this is the end of my time here in UMT. I’m going to leave this tranquil city tomorrow. It’s time to pack my belongings and back to the hectic city.


I’ve collected a whole collection of pictures of life in UMT… including the road my feet have travelled. All the pictures are making me super reluctant to leave here as I gotta step into another phase of my life, the internship.

I will miss everything here.....see you next time Kuala Terengganu!

It's coming to an end now....

Next week will be my final week as an on campus UMT student. I study and live here for about 3 ½ years... I’m so reluctant to leave all this behind me...


I’ll miss kitchen life... chef coat, knife set, commercial class, recipe testing, deboning chicken, sneaking chocolate, service, cleaning kitchen...

I'll miss working for final year project...meeting supervisor, data collection, thesis writing, viva...

I’ll miss TaiChi Club...recruiting new members, practice with fellow members, sharing with Sifu, performing in events...

I’ll miss Voice of Harmony...recording, dancing, singing, performing in convocations and big events...

I’ll miss hostel...all my ex-roommates, kucing, water crisis, hunting for food during Ramadhan, free nude girl show, go online for hours in the midnight, sleeping...and oh, studying...I have no regret to stay in the hostel all these years without my friends around. This is already like my second home.

I’ll miss all the random activities I’ve joined in these years. Squash clinic, swimming, larian hijrah, chinese cultural night, santai seni, volunteer duty...

I’ll miss the time when we pakat to not go to lecture, I sign for you and you sign for me, I fell asleep, see others fell asleep, day-dreaming in lecture...cursing lecturers we dislike, laughing at lecturers we want to laugh at...

I’ll miss getting frustrated by Accounts, Chemistry, Menu Planning and Nutrition...I’ll miss the quizzical quizzes and testicle test-tical tests. I’ll miss lab reports, assignments and presentations...

I’ll miss going for Hot Hot’s vadai, Kuning’s sweet and sour chicken rice, Batu Rakit’s tomyam, KFC, Secret recipe, tapai, keropok lekor, sotong goreng, Mongolian steamboat, Mydin’s popcorn, China Town’s egg tarts.....I’ll miss RM5.99 Ruffles cheezy chips from Mydin KT. Hahahaha!!

I’ll miss staring down at the whole campus and hostel area from the library...

I’ll miss jalan biawak and van sapu...

I’ll miss all the beaches...

I’ll miss hanging out with my buddy-buddy friends... talking, pranking, doing crazy things, made fun and laughed for that, lepak-lepak, makan-makan, travelling...It’s so great to have you guys with me all these years. (sincerely, omg...feeling weepy) I'll miss u guys for how you all have brought colours to my life... I am so thankful that I’ve met u all.


I’ll miss all of you from Food Service and Nutrition 08/09... I’ll miss all the moments we cherish... I’ll miss all the laughters we had, disappointment and pride and scary times we had too.

I'll miss everyone else who I've met at UMT! from food science to the friends from other classes and also my seniors and juniors.... hahahaha...

I’ll miss all the lecturers and staffs I know...I’ll never forget all the lectures and advices from you all...I appreciate every helping hand from staffs and also the pakcik-makcik...

I will be starting internship in a month’s time. I’m not sure what will happen with me in the future, but what I’ve done and who I’ve met in UMT will stay in my memory forever =)


P/s: I started my very own memorable happy new year by running in the rain...letting the raindrops falling on my head... I’m so happy!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TWENTY-TWELVE!!!!
