Wandering around Vietnam

Hello! I’m back with travel post.

It’s been a very long time the samseng me never went travelling since I started internship, started my first job right after internship, got my second job and work, work, and work like a workaholic. Finally I got a one week break to rest and fly to Vietnam with my friends for a “reunion”.

This is an unplanned planned trip. We simply suggested, simply decided and simply bought the flight ticket to Ho Chi Minh a year ago. I guess we are the very cincai backpackers with all the last minute decisions. That’s why we simply made a lot of foolish yet funny and great memories during the trip…….

We arrive in Ho Chi Minh in the evening and got a cab to Pham Ngu Lao where crowded with backpackers, bars, budget guest houses and tour agencies. 6 of us book a dorm at Vinh Hostel for 2 nights via agoda.com with only RM43.80! Wow, cheap! 1 person only about RM7! Where can we find such a cheap room in Msia?! But when we check-in, we only realize we are wrong! We actually only booked for a bed wtf~ End up we have to pay for another 5 beds. (#foolish1)

As a first time visitor, I was amazed with the traffic here. I must say the traffic in HCMC is so cool and so scary. The roads are overcrowded with motorcycles! They can carry everything on the motorbike. Those fearless motorists make us nearly got heart attack. Crossing the road is one VERY tough task. You don’t know what is coming and where did it come from. We actually ‘surrender’ by putting our both hands up while crossing the road. Thank god, we are still alive.

Don’t know why are chairs by the roadside stalls arranged to face the road than facing each other.
