Bangkok again

My last visit to Bangkok was actually in May.

The reason why now only I share with you is because… I am going to Phuket 2 weeks later :)

We stayed at White Palace Hotel at Pratunam area. There is a street market near to our hotel so we can actually find street food easier. I’m a big fan of street food when I’m travelling around, and Bangkok has no shortage of it. From sticky rice with mango, to Phad Thai, to green curry and tomyam soup, to coconut ice cream, it’s delicious and cheap.

I like these pancakes very much

Coconut ice cream!!

The deep-fried worm. Taste like twistie. Good try

We went to the backpacker infested Khao San Road at the first night. It is always my favourite place to go.

Khao San comes alive in the night

Get to know some new Thai friends from a friend of mine.

Together we created 2 special memories in Bangkok city.

#1

We walked too far away from Khao San to nowhere. When we walked back to Khao San, it rained…oh no!! We couldn’t find a shade and it was already 12 in the night. We have to walk under the rain so that we can still get a tut-tut. All wet ~

#2

So finally we get a tut-tut, but the driver sent us to Prince Palace Hotel instead of White Palace Hotel. The driver can’t speak English, he thought we don’t want to pay and he got angry wtf and he asked for another 200baht to send us back to White Palace Hotel. Crap!! Apa larrr…such a scam!

Think we really need to bring along offline language translator whenever we travel to other places to avoid misunderstanding.
