Melaka's Food

If you do follow up with my blog, I’m sure u’ve heard about me mentioning about trips to Melaka right? Aha!!....here we go!!

Food was one of the main purposes of our trip to Melaka. Chicken rice balls, cendol durian, cendol gula Melaka, nyonya food, satay celup...you name it, all of Melaka’s famous dishes were already in my stomach...yeah!!

We went to Jonker street for food hunting. That was a weekend, so the street will be blocked and turn into a weekend night market. There are numerous hawker foods along the street...anyway, night market is not my favourite...especially late in the night because it’s crowded and hot!!
This kok-kok-tang is not my favourite
The dimsum was not bad and it’s quite cheap, 50cent for each and you pay lesser if you buy more
Yummy
Cendol durian from San-shu-gong. I like the packaging, nah..a durian!!Well, friends of me should know I hate durian!! This durian can be a good try but not for me~oops..it's cendol, not durian.
This is the famous chicken rice balls. Friends say we went to a wrong shop, erm, we just enter the one which recommended by Melaka tourist guide. So..I’m not sure with that~ and I prefer the Taiwan chicken rice in Anson’s foodcourt...that is the best chicken rice for me!hahaha =P

A friend of mine who stays in Melaka suggested me to go for Capitol’s satay celup, we walked for about an hour to get the shop...because when we were exploring this night city, we lost...haha~ 3 pengakap failed to study topo map~ lame lame lame!!!(paiseh to tell, I’m one of the 3) Luckily we found it earlier, when we start to eat, the coming customers need to queue up to wait for their turn..fuhhh...yeah!! Satay celup is quite unique to me, that is dunked in a boiling pot of thick and spicy peanut sauce and then eat with the peanut sauce...and there's a large variety of food choice...price reasonable and really delicious =P

satay celup
We simply had our Nyonya cuisine in this Nancy’s Kitchen at Jonker street due to too hungry and we were lazy for food hunting again...erm...we had Jai Choy (vegetarian dish), Keluak Chicken,Pork Pong Teh and steam Otak-otak...nice but a little too salty~

Melaka's food is quite delicious and unique..and I guess i had gain much weight! Haha..once in a life time..nevermind la~
