PAHANG!!

I had a 16 days break before my first paper of the final exam of my 5th semester (OMG, 6th semester is coming, time really flies!) Some people go home, some stay and study, some rest and start their drama-marathon!

How about me? Hehe...I spent my days with travelling and having funs! Yoohoo =P

Originally, I was thinking to go to JB. My friend there offered me a guide to Singapore!! Wow... sounds great right?! Then I started to plan...but low budget lar!

Hrrmm, I should be had already visited Singapore last April... for Mayday’s DNA concert and a 4 days trip there with my cousins! Travel Singapore and rock my favourite band group’s concert at the same time...what a perfect plan!! But before I depart, I received a real bad news, had to cancel the trip, drag my luggage and go home with a broken heart. It was such a pity that I missed my Mayday’s VIP seat and burned my perfect plan...but nothing can be worse than losing the one who created you, gave you DNA and brought you to this beautiful world, right? Life’s unpredictable, it’s true!!

Okay okay, let’s forget the sad thing, back to the topic!

While I was planning for the JB trip, I saw another friend of mine who I didn’t meet for almost 8 years since he left us, posted something in Facebook. So I simply asked where he is after he backed from working in Singapore. Just after a few replies, I changed my destination to Pahang! Haha~ I make a trip via Facebook! Not even a phone call or text, I don’t have his number too! See, how advanced Facebook is!

I went there with my “samseng-member” Isabelle together. We took a morning bus to Kuantan then changed to Rompin. At first, some friends from KL will join us and meet up at Rompin, but they couldn’t make it at the last minute. Ishhh!

It was my first time to Kuantan. We didn’t explore Kuantan much as we had one afternoon time only. We didn’t visit Teluk Chempedak, Beserah and those Pantai-pantai too, it sound bored to me as I’m already sick of beach!! We went to those malls where UMT students will purposely drive there during weekends when they are too bored. I thought how nice to shop here, but sigh... I’ll definitely never ever waste my 3 hours to travel all the way here from Kuala Terengganu to do shopping or any entertainments and then take another 3 hours to return. I rather use these 6 hours to wander around KT town and makan sampai muntah!!

Then we took about 2 hours to reach Kuala Rompin. Yea we brought rains to Rompin. It rained non-stop.

Introducing my friend, Chung Hooi aka Brian Teoh, currently staying in Kuala Rompin, doing something related to forestry or maybe logging.

He just finished a contract and waiting for another contract to start. He got plenty of time to entertain me while waiting for the rain stops and the muddy road is dried. We were classmates during primary school times. We used to compete for number 1 of whole grade in academic! Hehe~ I was clever when I was young and I always proud of it, but don’t know why become so stupid now.

I felt awkward when first saw my friend here. You know, it’s been 8 years we never meet up, not close also, but I’m here to bother him to be tour guide and staying at his place. Weird hor? But everything gets better after a night of talking about our pasts, current and future. Haha =P

Kuala Rompin is a small town, with Pantai Hiburan, rows of shops, famous for its fishing activities here. See the trademark! It’s sailfish. Kuala Rompin is the international destination for sailfish’s sport fishing. Wow...which I never know there’s such an activity in our country!

What I did in Kuala Rompin?

Romping around lor! Haha :) There’s so much I did, which is not in my plan!! Had so much unexpected experience here~
