Squash ain't squashy

Umm...noticed that I haven’t been updating my blog as frequently as before? It’s because I’m preparing and studying for semester finals...okay okay, I know you don’t believe. I’m actually lazy to write. =.=

So now I’m back in my hometown for two weeks break before the last paper.
nothing to do in the bus! Played with my sun-glasses and camera :)

Last few weeks, I learned how to play squash.

Haha...never really thought I would do it, just like I still never really know why I would go for swimming lesson. I’m always an “anti-sport” freak. I say NO to any sports and games, not even a jog.

But one day, I read a notice stated that sport centre of my college is going to organize a squash clinic for 3½ continuous days. Then I started to think...not much people play squash right? Play in a closed court and with aircond right?

Haha...ok! I’ll go for it~

I thought that was a learning course, but after the course introduction, then only I realized that was actually a coaching course!!

What? I don’t know anything about squash, don’t know how to play, but I have to coach? I thought I’m here to learn and play for fun, but now I was required to score 70% of total marks to pass each coaching test, practical test, and theory test. Wa wa wa...tension lor!! Felt like I was tricked to take an extra subject with 3 credit hours, 1+2 summore!

Aiks...but ok... Since Nicol David’s ex-coach is here to teach, and MASUM’s second runner-up in squash game is here to lead, let’s make it as a new challenge and new experience, should grab well the chance to know them better and learn something from them...Besides, this course is fully FOC. I got bag, I got shirt, I got notes and books, plus huge meals provided!

Well, I’ll stay!! hehe!!

Seriously, I learnt a lot from this squash clinic. Now I know the equipments, the theory of IDEAS and GEMFBRS. From zero...now I can serve, return, strike, play different techniques, diagnose mistakes, refereeing and maybe coaching.

It was fun...so enjoyable! But kinda tiring for person like me, lack of physical activity! I want to play again! Who wants to play with me? If you don’t know, don’t worry! I can be your coach, but I haven’t receive my result, so...not really sure am I qualified...main-main sajer boleh la~~

Although I’m tired, I’m happy =)

I’m considering should I make squash as my weekly game after I settle down in new home?
