Just a random post

I got a letter from Prudential.

Surprisingly, there are gift vouchers!!

I forgot when I participated in the Prudential "Rank and Win" survey, until I read the letter and saw the shopping vouchers.

I think I completed the survey via Nuffnang ad, months ago....

So now I have rm30 to spend in Jusco. Haha! So happy to shop for free, although it is just small amount.

Hmmm...what should I buy?!

Maybe....a small gift for CNY! :)

note : I bought myself a pair of high heels...yayyy!

a sweet escape

Before I begin blogging, just to assure all of you that I'm doing pretty fine, life's as usual, live like an ordinary student. I’ve learned the way to be happier.

- Never put too much expectation in life, so that you won’t get disappointed.-

ZhangHuilyn, 2011.

Did I mention earlier I’m supposed to be busy for these weeks?!!

Sometimes, when you feel tension and sick with all the hell things around you, the best way to distress is...a sweet escape!

Haha, don’t shoot me! I know that’s actually an excuse to go have fun~

It’s all started off during laboratory when Cien spontaneously suggested to go Genting. I was lucky to join them as it’s actually their family trip which involves only housemates.

Days before we depart, assignments, tasks and reports snowballing and we just ignored. A little bit too wild, isn’t it?

We went town by van, went KL by bus, went Genting by bus and skyway, went back to KL by bus, went to Putra by train, went back to KT by bus, and went home by taxis. See…transportation was not a matter at all when you really want it!

If you followed my blog, you will know I always go Genting. It’s like my villa where I’ll be there when it’s holiday! But I seldom went to outdoor them park, and never enter with FRIENDS before. Hence, outdoor theme park was the first intention in mind and it’s our first destination!

We went for speeding flying coaster and cyclone…we went for easy flying jumbo, merry go round, pirate train and flying dragon.

We went to Dinasourland

and I got my riding partner…to fight with enemy like AVATAR!

And finally I got myself in Spaceshot and Corkscrew!!! Wow...thrilling fantastic!!

We also had fun in the Beryl’s chocolate house. It’s very colorful and nice. I love all the settings and interior of the place!! :)

Hehe...strawberry picked strawberry!

Here are the most enjoyable parts!!

We ride the pirate ship for thrice! oMg~ I was a little dizzy and I can feel the “mee-suah” I ate for lunch was swaying in my stomach and flowing back to esophagus.

Another exciting game is the Flume Ride.

I was in the same boat with another two guys. I was totally wet~ the water came in from everywhere when we rushed down the flume. Wet…wet…wet!! Blame the guys larrr, our total weight was too heavy already! End up with drying myself with hand dryer in the toilet.

Ok, after that we were all tired and went for dinner.

Haha, my grilled chicken chop! I grilled it by myself~ yay

Then we headed for a movie. Tian Tian Hao Tian. I’m sorry to say, I fell asleep! Hehe, it’s my problem. It’s not my favourite type!

Enjoyed my Baskin Robbin ice-cream while watching the movie.

Stayed in First World Hotel, price was reasonably cheap, small but still comfortable for 9 of us to squeeze in (Feel like a family maaa…) played a brain-cells-killing game named The Killer!! I can only act to be a killer, but I can’t detect who is the killer! I’m very poor in analysis. I’m so clueless~ it was quite fun doing such activities in the hotel room. Midnight went night-walks, let the chilling wind blows, chatting, joking, enjoyed our stay! Great!

The next day we went casino. Whoa, some of them were asked to show IC. Haha…wonder why!? Then we went indoor theme park.

The most wanted game for me to play is ANGER EXPLOTION! I love this game very very very very very much, BEST GAME ever! although it hurts my palms, but it’s totally a superb fun game! I wish I could have one in my house! I’ll hit the table, and even flip the table when I CAN’T STAND ANYMORE!!!!!!!! You gotta try it

We got key chains and stickers by redeemed tickets! All of us stick the stickers on face and walked around until we reached in KL.

I saw people looking at us with weird face, but who cares…blablabla…sometimes we need to be a little insane and do something special to cheer our days! Agree?!

Leaving the paradise is kind of sad. cause gonna return to the place where give me much pressure and hectic life. It’s like drop to hell from heaven. Isabelle was worse, she had a nightmare in the bus, about her supervisor!

Though I’m so familiar with this place, but this trip is definitely an enjoyable one! I enjoyed the days very much. It’s been years I never had so much laughter with bunch of friends, did funny things together in a place where nobody knows us.

Appreciate it! Yay... I’m looking forward to another trip!!!!

All by myself

I’m sad.
Violently sad.

When believes diverge.
When promises fall to pieces.
When faith collapse.

I’m disappointed.
Seriously disappointed.

All these time I was like an idiot.
I thought we could be.
But you screwed it up and gave it away.
I feel like I’m all alone.
All by myself.
It doesn’t feel right at all.
My heart is broken.

So I leave.
So I turn to play dead.
Till the day you understand.

Life for share @ Small (Little) Shaman, I wish...

I found this creepy thing with popped-eyes and zipped-mouth in my drawer.

His name is Small Shaman (I think Little Shaman sounds cuter). He is a wizard wearing pink hat and riding on a broom.

When I was in Melaka for my makan-makan trip, I received a call from my buddy, told that he is going to UK for his studies. And now he is already there for almost half a year.

I know him since both us were 7. He was a hot-tempered childe, and I was the fierce and manic class monitor. We were standing in opposite position, like cat and mouse. We quarreled all the time, but we are friends.

When we grown up, he started to be nice, but still hot-tempered. I became a wild maniac, but still fierce and manic. We still quarrel all the time, for every single small matter, but we are still friends!! We share joys and sorrows.

It is a 15 years friendship, and I’m sure the number will go up year by year.

How precious it is.

Instead of only a simple farewell dinner, I wanted to give him a farewell gift. I walked in every shop along Jonker Street. I have no idea what to buy, until I saw the popped-eyes-and-zipped-mouth toy series.

It’s small, but nothing can be dearer than a hearty wish. I got him a Small Professor to wish him luck in his studies at the faraway lands, and small Shaman for myself.

I’ll do the translation for you.

人生的梦想有很多There are a lot of dreams in life,
能够实现的却很少but there’s too little to be realized.
小巫师能搞让你梦想成真 Small Shaman will let your dreams come true.

I dream a lot, but the sad thing is...I never really achieved any of them. I never really took the initiative to achieve them. Or maybe I just dream too much, without ONE dream that I really want to pursue.

Small (Little) shaman, I have 3 wishes:

Give me courage to sacrifice to dream a little dream, to believe in my dream, and turning that dream into a reality.

Could you bless me, small (Little) Shaman?

MAKEP @ TTI

I just realize that I was always busy with choir practice when every new semester begins. Still keep this trend for this new semester. I was asked for choir practice on the second schooling day, to perform during Malam Anugerah Kepimpinan Pelajar (MAKEP) UMT on the 8th.

This year’s MAKEP was in TTI (Taman Tamadun Islam).

In this building.
Photo taken during the last time I went to visit TTI

I had a seminar on that morning until the evening. My friend texted me at 4.45pm, told that bus to TTI will depart at 5.00pm. Walau! OMG. The seminar is not end yet, and I was so excited learning interviewing skills from the speaker. Grrrrr!! So I rushed back.

Lame...I waited for almost an hour, people from the seminar came back already, but I still can’t see a bus! Bayang pun takdak. ishh~ Next time if want to be late, don’t ask us to wait so early larr.

 Waaa..... red carpet with signboard..

Girls’ make-up session

NC’s speaking. He wore a bow-tie, looked cute.

The backstage

NO performance photos here.
Overall performance is good, some say great. (Really?)

Honestly, I actually don’t like it. It was dull and not challenging at all to sing. But it was super challenging for me to perform in malay-style or maybe Terengganu-style...I feel so shy to joget joget joget...joget sampai mati~ and all those ugly actions (I named the sequence like this : wash cloth on the right, wash plate on the left, wipe fan on the upper right, wipe lamp on the upper left) ....arrrhhh...they said comelnya, but I felt kind of malu lor...my friends down stage laughed at me like unbelievable OMG~ yerrr tak suka tak suka :(

I went wandering around (I can’t sit still)... and found these things.

See but don’t touch! Cause both have cracks.
I mean crackSSSS!

Haha, I found colander we use to drain washed vegetables.

This giant one can use to drain tons of food! SUPERB!

This is the souvenirs for guests. I’m not a guest, so I borrow from friend, just to take a photo with it.

This is not me!! The eyeshadow and eyeliner turned me into another person

This plate is quite nice ma, can consider this as souvenir, rather than a medal.

Heard that there’s another performance for upcoming Chinese New Year Cultural Night. I wonder what songs we are going to sing. Please...no “Chai-Shen-Dao”...please! (*praying, and gonna pray harder*)

PS: Actually hor, the colander is not a colander, it’s the design of the building lar. I fooled you!!!! :) wahahahahaha....

Dear Rain, Please Stop!

Raining, raining, raining... It rains for days.

I walk to campus in the rain. My umbrella couldn’t fight the strong wind and heavy rain. I am always wet from my waist down when I enter the class.

I wish there’s shelter or canopy along the way,
at least one small booth to hide from the raining clouds!

One thing I always do under my umbrella when raining and when nobody besides me is SINGING IN THE RAIN!

Doodoodoodoo-doodoo-doodoodoodoooo~ and sometimes spinning my umbrella and sing ella-eh-eh-eh-ella-eh...haha! this is just joking :)

Read that some districts in Terengganu were flooded due to the 'unstoppable' rains.

come we pray!

God, any god who got the power, please stop the rain and bring sunshine back okay?

If not, I afraid my room will start to snow.

3 January 2011

Since when my room is snowing?

When I open the door, I was like : WAHHHH!! SURPRISE!!

SINCE WHEN MY ROOM IS SNOWING????

My bed

 Outside and inside the cupboard

All wooden-made furniture are covered with “snowflakes”

These moulds reproduce so fast so great!! My clothes inside the cupboard were mildewed! Blame it to the monsoon and this cold room, it’s humid and sunless, make it a great place to sleep, and also for fungus to grow!

Another problem is..........

Termites eat my drawers!! And leave all these ‘SHIT’ to me! I hate it~

I was so surprised by all these welcome gifts. Now I think about it, actually not bad also to do gotong-royong on the first day I come back, right?
