Welcome to Wind Cave.
Entrance to the cave is Rm3 for adult or Rm1.50 for student. It’s pitch-black inside the cave. So we rented torchlights.
Ready to explore!
There are 3 different trails, but actually they are all interconnected. It’s actually like walking in a park as the trail was well-maintained, but in dark. There are stalagmites and stalactites, and thousands of bats hanging over the wall I guess.
I couldn’t take much photograph inside the cave. So we had our own gila-gila activities. I tried to frighten my friends with bats, patted on their shoulders and pushed each other in the dark, suddenly switched off the torchlight......hahaha! It was funny and super happy to see the guys screamed in fear for afraid of the bats and begged for light!!!!
It was windy in the cave. There’s cool breeze blowing in the cave.
Then we proceeded to Fairy Cave.
It is about 15 minutes away from Wind Cave. The GPS we rented was so lame and gave wrong directions. We drove the wrong way to don’t-know-where and passed by this partially done Dinosaur Park (I think so) coz have dinosaurs and the wall looked like the backbone of a dinosaur.
Welcome to Fairy Cave. The entrance to Fairy Cave is free.
Woohoooooo, got to take this 4 floor steps to reach the entrance.
4 floor steps done. And damn..more steps to reach the entrance...wtf~~
The first part in the cave was tougher because the steps are wet and it was pitch black. But after that, the cave was in bright as the daylight shining into the cave. Still need to be very careful to the slippery and uneven steps.
We met some cavers. They were from England and purposely came to explore the caves. They wear sportwears and helmets with lights. Us? We were in casual and without any flashlights like going for shopping~ hahaha!
The view when standing in Fairy Cave.
Can you see what is this figure resembling?
Lastly, group photo of us “conquered” the cave!
I was exhausted after exploring the two caves. I had used up 80% of the exploration quota of the year. And I just realized that I went to caves, forests and waterfalls quite often, like in every trip. This makes me an outdoors-girl, but I’m actually not...umm..not really~~ just a little bit samseng!
PS: Do not bring me to any mountain, hill, cave, forest, waterfall and river in the upcoming trip. Can or not? *begging*
