I didn’t see any living cat in Kuching town. All the cats I saw were either statues or souvenirs.
We walked around the town on the last day in Kuching.
This is the waterfront. We actually wanted to watch sunset at the waterfront in the evening of the second day. We waited for 6pm, and when we wanted to go from our hotel, it rained. It rained cats and dogs but the bright sun was still there!!! shueh! So, too bad~ no sunset view of the waterfront.
The DUN building and Astaka on the other side of the river.
We went to Cat Museum to see cats. Still no REAL cats, all are models and toys.
The Kuching cats are more adorable.
Doraemon, Garfield, Kitty and Prosperity Cat!! But all are fake one.
arched-back cats..cute!
Persian cat? I'm not sure..but it is definitely a FAT CAT
And us, pretended to be cat.
Okay! It’s time for food, which is my favourite.
The must-eat food in Kuching is Kolo Mee. I had Kolo Mee every day at different places. The noodles taste like spring noodle or maybe instant noodle. Then it looks like wantan mee without wantan. The flavor is like normal kon-loh-mee.
This one is from Song Kheng Hai food court.
This one is from Chong Choon Café. My friend ordered this, and I wonder why it looked so different. Hahaha~
This one is from a kopitiam along the way to Jong Crocodile Farm in Serian. I forgot where already and I had the best chicken rice there too.
Next is Sarawak Laksa. It tastes like curry, the one at Chong Choon café is pretty awesome.
We also had seafood dinner at TopSpot Seafood. It is actually a place you can find many seafood stalls. We chose ABC Seafood aka AhSeng Seafood. Well, seafood is always not my favourite as I allergic to seafood like prawn, crab, clam, mussel, sotong blablabla... I can only eat certain seafish. Anyway, these are some food we had.
The must-drink beverage in Kuching is definitely the 3 layer milk tea/ teh C special. I had it together with every meal in Kuching~
The left one is from Premier 101 Food Court near Bing Coffee.
The right one is from Chong Choon café.
This one is with pandan syrup.
OMG!! It was a heavenly drink, taste better than the one with gula Melaka. The best one from the kopitiam in Serian where I had the best chicken rice, forgot the name already!
Honey sea coconut at Ching Chang Drinks Stall at Song Kheng Hai food court. Very refreshing drink, nice and cool~
Mint Tea at Premier 101 Food Court. I personally love this drink very much, taste like mint toothpaste.
That's all for my 3D2N Kuching trip. We actually had so much food at different places, hahaha! We ate way too much in this trip. Too bad I don’t have enough stomach space to taste tomato mee and belacan noodle. And anyway, I enjoyed Kuching. Although we lost and met certain unexpected, we still could enjoy the fun moments together. Haha!!! Next time, I must see Rafflesia, eat tomato mee and belacan noodle!!!
A-cha~ I'm drooling!!!
