Suria The Elephant

I watched elephants doing massage, I watched them cycling, I watch them kicked football, I fed them with sugarcanes, and I always want to ride on them.

The samseng kaki went to a nearer elephant sanctuary after a revisit to Kenyir Lake. For Kenyir Lake, we went to Saok Waterfall and the Herbal Garden again, and the boat driver gave us bonus to catfish sanctuary.

Due to the monsoon, the lake was not as beautiful as it was in last April. I wonder why everyday rain but the water level was lower than previous and then we have to walk to the waterfall. I wonder how. I wonder why.

Last time the boat can reach to the red arrow there and I can’t even see the ground, rocks and grasses.

Dear Rain, Please Stop! 2.0

It’s monsoon again. This wet season wet the city and every day’s a wet day.

I remember when I first returned to this city on early January. It was the tail of monsoon. It rained nonstop and I had to walk to classes under my little foldable umbrella. That time, I desperately wished for a shelter along the way for me to hide from the raining clouds.

And I just realized the Ultimate Universe listen to my prayer and He made them build the shelter. So now, no more worries of get wet through.

Sigh, raining again today……. and I think tonight also will rain.

Ms.Sunshine? Mr.TwinkleTwinkleLittleStar? Where are you?

Let’s finish the hide and seek, okay?

Breakaway to Sg. Lembing – LaoZi Temple (Day 3)

It rained for day and night after all the rainbow thing. We woke at 4.30am to prepare for Panorama Hill but it was still raining. So we back to bed and hide under the sheet. Well, I’m okay with that since I already went up last year. So whatever…...But I couldn’t sleep well after that and I can’t sleep anymore.
So I went out to see the rain...walked around the village again in the rain, and see aunty make lembing noodles.

Then we checked out and went to visit the Sungai Lembing Mining Museum before we left this lovely town. Nothing special there.

Then we went to Lao Zi Temple.
Here are some photos of Lao Zi Temple. Let the photos speak!

Breakaway to Sg. Lembing – Rainbow Waterfall (Day 2)

Last year, when Isabella and I came to Sg.Lembing, my friend Hooi brought us to the Rainbow Waterfall after a hike to Panorama Hill. We actually wanted to enter the waterfall without a guide, but we didn’t know the path was so rocky and muddy, somemore have to cross stream (the aftermath of never find information of the place before we come). With his dad’s luxurious car, we cancelled the trip and turned back. But we found the very special Hot Spring and saw some deer~ hahaha!!

Why Rainbow Waterfall? According to previous studies, the tiny water droplets from this high waterfall will create a rainbow effect when the sunrise rays shine on it. Hence, this waterfall got its colorful name for this phenomenon. Rainbow colour, my favourite colour, yay!!

Since getting to the place was not an easy way, this time we hired a guide. We woke up very early to get ready to Rainbow Waterfall. Thanks to the Universe, NO RAIN!! Our 4-wheels jeep came to pick us up at 5.30am in front of the place we stayed.

We went to the market for breakfast first. We had the famous Yong Tau Fu as light breakfast.

After that, all of us boarded the jeep and start the journey on the rocky and muddy path. It’s fun when all of us talked crap and nonsense along the way, full of laughter.

Breakaway to Sg. Lembing – Day 1

I just mentioned I didn’t wanna go to any mountain/hill and sea/river/waterfall anymore in the previous post, but after a week, sigh…… I broke my promise~

Last Deepavali, me and some course mates went to Sg Lembing for a short holiday! That was my second visit to Sg Lembing since last year in early November. Wow, it’s already one year ago! And I kinda miss the people I met and friends I made during the days in Rompin.

It rained everyday in this monsoon. Every day we pray. We pray to every God and to the Universe for bringing us sunshine, at least on the day we go to Rainbow Waterfall. I always believe the Great Universe can hear my prayers. And yes, He did it again!!

We checked in Lembing Riverview Resort. I like the place because it is in a village, peace and calm. We were the only residents in the house for those days. So we turned the house into “our” house. We had games and karaoke in the night. We celebrated friend’s birthday there too.
