Thanks to Food Processing laboratory, we produce our own food product weekly.
We had produced salted fish, smoked fish, tapai, ice cream, yellow noodles, jam and cordial, tau fu fah, soy milk, grass jelly, burger, sausage, fish fingers, and also keropok lekor.
I’m going to talk about how to make keropok lekor. If you want to know more about the background of keropok lekor, click here.
Get frozen fish flesh (otoshimi), salt, cornstarch, sagu flour, sugar, MSG, soda bicarbonate and shortening then mix all of them with bowl chopper.
Then roll the minced flesh into cylinder shape.
Boil the lekor with boiling water and cut into pieces. Then deep fry it until golden brown color.
Tah-dah!!! Our final product
"very Crispy and have stronger fishy taste keropok lekor"
See those plastic bags…full with lekor. Eat till feel gross coz too much of keropok lekor in the day!!
I think, I will not eat any lekor for the coming months….T_T
