the driver, the tour guide/photographer, the visitor
We departed to Kenyir Lake in the morning. I was shocked when Thye Lim told me he is actually a road-blind. He can’t remember the way and direction.
Ishhh…find wrong tour guide already!!!
So, we went there by the help of GPS, but still lost our way x_x at last need to ask the Pak Cik by the roadside to reach Lake Kenyir.
According to Wikipedia.com, Kenyir Lake is the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia in Terengganu. It contains 340 islands, at least 25 waterfalls and numerous rivers.
The guys ran down to the lake but I didn’t as I wore the wrong shoes. I wore sandals only, plus that’s my new sandals I bought a day before!! GRRrrrr……I didn’t want to come here without dipping my legs in the lake water. So, I 'crawled' down and 'climbed' up barefoot from this dry big drain. Kinda funny and clumsy.
The pavements look like some words.
Then we went to the jetty for another nice lake view.
the floating house
the stupid canopies blocked the words
sh*t..my legs were not enough long..just able to touch the lake water with my toes!
!#$%^&
The price of renting a boat to go visit some places around Lake Kenyir just for 3 of us were much too expensive! So we just canceled our thought and go to the playground for some kiddy games then go home.
acting as an airplane
Suddenly we heard someone shout for Thye Lim. Oh, there’s a little boy, Thye Lim’s neighbour. He came with his family and relatives. I asked Thye Lim to ask whether we can share the boat with them. Uncle was very kind and he let us to join.
Hooray!!!!! We are so lucky ~ and we are going to Herbal Island and Saok Waterfall.
to be continued
