Food @ Heng Kee Bak Kut Teh, PJ

Heng Kee at PJ Old Town is always the place I have Bak Kut Teh.

as you see, at Jalan 1/19, PJ

Spare ribs, pork belly, pork stomach.
The soup smells nice with the herbal taste. Very nice!

Taufu-POK is my all time favourite no matter it is cooked in whatever way, especially in Bak Kut Teh soup.

“Oil-fried ghost” aka “You-tiao”.
I dip them into the soup until fully soft and then...YUM!!

Kai-lan very nice, but quite oily~ But I think it would be better less oil on the veggie and taste better if ‘zhu-you-zha’/cracklings is added! Errr, did I just say it’s quite oily? =.=

What we usually order

Price is reasonable and clearly listed. So, don't need to worry will be chopped. Hehe!!

This place is very crowded during weekends. So we usually go at about 6 in the evening to have early dinner, but usually also almost full and need to wait for empty table already.
