Audience 001 in Kungfu TV show

Last weekend, I went to Berjaya Times Square to meet some friends. But they ffk me (with reasons wtf) and only one came. Alright, I excuse them.

My well-planned weekend became an unplanned weekend already.
Sad + Disappointed :(

So I walked around to wait for my friend to come. No mood for shopping. Just simply wander. Then I saw the stage for The International New Era Chinese Kung Fu Competition Semifinal at the main entrance. I always saw its promo trailer aired on Wah Lai Toi. So I went to 8 for a while before the competition start.

Then I saw a junior of mine during my high school scouting time. His friend is one of the semifinalist. So we sat together and support his friend. (In the end, from a busybody turned into a supporter =.=) Haha, very happy to meet up with him. Last time he was still a little boy...always smile smile like don’t know anything, but now he is studying product designing in Limkokwing University College. He’s a future product designer weh..don’t play play!!!

Back to the kung fu competition.

FYI, this competition organized by Astro Wah Lai Toi (click for further details) and Hong Kong’s TVB to search for the next kung fu star. The winner of Malaysia will represent our country at the grand final in Hong Kong to challenge champions from other countries. The overall champion will get to participate in a TV production.

Jojo and Bernard are the hosts

OMG, my favourite TV host!!! Bernard aka Taufu-Bok!!! He is so cuteeeee and funny~~ Je l’adore beaucoup (it means I Like Him Very Much in French)

The judges for this semifinal round of the competition are some multiple award-winning martial arts sifu and also Hong Kong actors Dennis To Yu-Hang (the younger Eye-Pee IP man) and Pierre Ngo Ka-nin (Pai Kuat zhai aka sparerib in TVB series ‘Yi-Hoi-Hou-Cheng’) as the celebrity judges. Actually there’s another judge, Liu Xuan (Chinese Olympic gymnast-turned-actress) but she didn’t come.

Dennis To is giving comments

I was excited because the whole competition was recorded. It means, I am in the show, as a kehlehfeh~ The director commanded “Audience!! standby applause!!!! 5,4.....” we cheered and clapped hands like crazy people when she said the silent 3. Hahaha, it was fun. Retake many times because we always lag and not enough aggressive.

see the camera!!!

These are the photos of all 10 semifinalists on stage. Each of them needs to perform their kung fu skills in 50 seconds. Some came with surprises at the show. Very dramatic and impressive.

the one in white kungfu shirt on lower left is my friend's friend

7 finalists were selected. Another 1 was selected among the 3 unlucky participants after they competed again in the final segment. The final segment to test their martial-arts acting skills make me burst into laughter. Hahahahaha!! It’s very funny because they don’t really fight. Every action and move was set and rehearsed. But you can still see them show painful expression and shout hak-hak-huu-hakkk!!~

Each flag represents each semifinalist’s last name

My friend’s friend was one of the 8 finalists. But he didn’t win in the final. It’s okay. He’s still young and quite good-looking to be a star. Still have many chances to participate in others kung fu star search competition larr..!!

Pai kuat zhai...oops...should be Pierre Ngo Ka-nin, he performed sword and also sang a song to us. Wahhhh, can act, can sing, can fight as well. I don’t know he can do so many things. Good good, can earn more $$$ with more talents~

Too bad Dennis To didn’t perform. I think he performed in final. Nevermind. Just watch Wah Lai Toi (Astro channel 311) on every Saturday at 10pm. You can see martial arts performance, you can see celebrities, and also me acting as Audience 001 (my friends are Audience 002 and 003). If you don't have Astro, go to mamak stalls or your neighbours' house to watch lar!! Muahahahaha XD XD

Pangyi and I makan-makan at Kim Gary Hong Kong Restaurant before I go back to Kajang for satay as dinper (dinner + supper) and before he meet his super idol Gary Chaw.

I took an hour to finish my must-eat CHEESE baked rice set.
Quite a large one and YummYYyyy~

That's all for my weekend
How was yours?!
