I'm in LA....Hot Spring

There’s a hot spring in Besut, Terengganu. It is LA Hot Spring.

FYI, LA Hot Spring is a recreation spot with sulfur rich water in the range of water temperature from 45-49 celcius and it is believed to cure all kind of illnesses such as paralysis, high blood pressure, rashes, asthma and stroke.

You will see paddy fields and oil palms estates along the way to LA Hot Spring. Plus, there are BULL SHITS all the way.

I went to the restroom right after we arrived and saw this “bath tubs”. Alaaaa….Poring Hotspring in Sabah? Okay~ at least it is better than the only one small pool in Lembing.

Very dirty and wtf!!!

But luckily this is not the one I gonna soak myself in!

This is the main wading pool of the hot spring.

The hot water flows down from somewhere at the top to the pool. Water in the pool is real hot. Soak your leg into the water and stay calm. Don’t move and let it be for about a minute, then you will not feel the heat anymore but comfortable, and started to sweat....is that a way of detoxication?

see the vapour

This is the second level with warmer water. I prefer this one.

I had a mini jacuzzi there but after about 5 minutes, I felt dizzy already and had a little difficulty to breath. So I went down to the cold water stream.

People swim, splash water, chitchat, jump in the water, play with ball and duck duck.

Besides playing with water, you can also trekking through the jungle and the oil palms estates.

When I was taking photos, I felt pain on my toe. So I looked at my baby toe, ah SHIT!! PACAT!!! LEECH!!! Ahhhh….it’s sucking my blood!! No salt, no lighter, no fire…how how how?!

OH! HOT WATER!!! Thank god! So I put my legs into the hot wading pool and tried to kill the leech. When I was trying to stop the blood, I saw another one leeching on another toe. Damn it!

DIE! LEECH! YOU DIE! Soak till you cooked and HOT till you die!

Here they are!! Hi leeches, long time no see and don’t see again!

It’s been about 5 years I never see a leech after my last camp for scout. I never remove leech by salt, but I burn them with lighter. It’s much faster.

After all the fun time, we rested and had self-made sushi and sandwiches prepared by my lovely coursemates! So pampered as they know I can eat a lot and finish all the food. And I really ate a lot!!!! =)

Then some went to change, but I didn’t. We are going to waterfall later, and we might get wet again. The lazy me don’t wanna change again. To avoid forbidden to enter the car, this is how I dried myself…

under the 12 noon sun! wtf..

I'm looking forward to Sungkai Hot spring. Okay, I know I'm from Perak and it is not far from my hometown...but I just don't have the chance to go and I only find it interesting after I leave the town... :)

LOA, LOA, LOA!!!
