Chatuchak Weekend Market

Our first day in Bangkok was a Saturday!!

Yay! Going to Chatuchak Weekend Market!!

We took a cab from our guest house at Khao San Road to Chatuchak to see Thai food culture and what kind of food we can get from there (one of the objectives of the education trip...ahem!).

6 girls squeezed into a cab to save cost.
There’s 8 people in the cab and the driver still say “NO PROBLEM, KAP KAP!!”
Thai got no police and no saman one ar?
and luckily Thai's cabs are all Toyota!! Good car XD

Once we reached, Isabella and I straight rushed to the market to fulfill our lust of shopping (and we totally forgot about the objectives =.=) but I actually have no idea what to shop also. Just saja excited wanna “chong chong chong!!!” as we only have 2 hours!!

Isabella went to hunt for shoes, I and another friend, Nanako went for pants and shirts. Then we were separated and lost!!!!

(on the phone)
Belle: Where are you?
Me: Har? Don't know leh...

Belle: Which section? Which street?
Me: Har? Don't know wo...got street name one ar?

Belle: What shop?
Me: Ehhh........

Walking in Chatuchak Market really need good sense of directions. It is a very large market, with thousands of stalls and many section, all the streets just look similar, like a maze. Luckily, we still managed to find the way out and met others.

Chatuchak Market was extremely warm due to poor air-circulation (too crowded). If you’re going, bring along handy-fan!

I simply went in a stall to get some cold drink. Then saw keropok lekor. So, EAT ALL!!

I also don’t know what I eat. All in Thai words. I can’t understand lar!

Not much photos I took in Chatuchak Market because I was busy hunting for something to buy and comparing price. Somehow, things here are really cheap!!! Hahaha! but I just simply bought some souvenirs for family, 1 pants, 4 shirts, and a bead necklace at the last minute...just a small purchase without a list. (I'm a poor student T_T)

Finally we got united!!

Shopping in Chatuchak Market made me realize one thing and I can confirm that, I’M NOT GOOD IN BARGAINING!!! Please teach me how~~~~
