31 December 2011

it's another end of another year

Well, it’s another end of another year. No time for review and flash back as I got final exam to prepare and it was too much of happenings since the beginning of the year.

Last year, the greatest lesson I’ve learned was about L.I.F.E. This year, the greatest thing I’ve learned was about O.P.P.O.R.T.U.N.I.T.Y.

Many dreams and wishes, and hopefully I can fulfill them in the near future.
I hope life will be greater and happier.
I hope working life will be interesting and smoother.

Happy New Year !!! Happy-go-lucky :)

In this festive season

It was Christmas and everyone was in festive mood. I went clubbing (kononnya) and shopping mall for movies to celebrate this joyous occasion.Yay!!

I am not a follower of Jesus Christ, a free-thinker here! But I just feel want to make my days happier. As I always mention recently “we gotta make memories”

So on Christmas eve, I went to a bistro for some alcohol. My friends told me that the gift exchanging is still on but I didn’t prepare anything. So they simply dropped me at a stationary shop. You can’t expect anything very special from a stationary shop right? I have no choice!!! So I took the Angry bird dustbin. Wahahaha XD

Poor him on the left got my gift and I got a bottle of lotion from him on the right

We played poker and the ‘rape with a blink’ game when waiting for the countdown.

Merry Christmas and CHEERS!!!!!

Then we went throwing darts. To make the game more interesting, we bet on it with pulling ears up and down as punishment for the one who score the least. I have poor focus and I lost the game 4 times…the biggest loser of the day wtf!

On Christmas day, I went to Mesra Mall (2 hours plus away from Kuala Terengganu) with a bunch of guys, some I knew for a long time and some were new friends. I was the special guest of the day. They thought there will be a very young cute pretty new junior girl, and they dropped their jaws to the ground with an UNBELIEVABLE plus DISAPPOINTED face like meme when I showed up. Wtf…hahahaha...but it was really a great surprise from me the SURPRISING special guest!!

Not really a celebration but more like a gathering. Watched two movies and had some arcade games…Oh I miss arcade games!!!!

That’s my merry Christmas! No related to Jesus at all. Hahahaha!!

Before that, we also celebrated Winter Solstice aka Dong Zhi. We made Rainbow Tangyuan just for fun but not edible. Too much of coloring larrr…

Angry bird series~~~ so cute!!

And we cooked with sugary syrup and savoury soup. The ever first time I tasted the savoury soup version of tangyuan. uhmmm....sorry lar I don’t like it.

I am not good in art. So I can’t make Angry bird, but only can make a star!

mmm…I love this festive season!!! More festivals please!!

Here I wish you all a Happy New Year 2012 in advance =) PEACE!

Thought of the day #002

Viva was finally over. Not to say good but not too bad also. Anyway, it’s over and now I’m gonna work on TC boy thesis writing. I mean, write scientifically and referential.

December is packed with tests and assignments. All are last minute arrangement before final exam. So I do last minute work lorrr..

I have a mission for the final month of my life in UMT. I’m going to collect a whole collection of pictures of UMT and KT... friends, campus area, beaches, people, food...etc.

Feel so glad and sweet to be with my BFF... we talk, we ask, and we share about life and love, girls and boys, jokes and shit... like we used to.

The modified lemon detox diet took two-kay-gee away in a week! Yeah!!! Now I gonna try Dukan diet with full protein and low carb. I can eat tons of meat right now!

I’m undergoing acne treatment... I got reddening of skin, burning, and skin peeling... I wanted to control oil, but now it seems like too dry. For beauty, I hope all these worth!!!

Just finished watching my favourite Taiwanese Drama “In Time With Love”... It is the best drama of the year with my favourite actor and actress!! So real so natural so touching. I gonna rewatch the full drama!

That’s all~~~ *in a happy mood*

4 December 2011

A lemon a day :)

I kicked off my modified lemon detox diet again last Friday.
It’s time for stomach and intestines cleansing after so much of pigout and hope to reduce some weight.

All I have should be only
lemon water+syrup+cayenne pepper and no solid food for 7 days.
It’s an unhealthy weight reduced diet.
YES I KNEW IT!!!!!!!
That’s why I modified it lorrr...

I made lemon water+blackcurrant juice+without cayenne pepper...
It actually tastes better with cayenne hehe :P
and the cayenne can help metabolism..
but the bottle I bought last time was expired already.
So nevermind I remove cayenne from the recipe.

Well well well... I don’t think my daily energy intake reach 700-1000kcal.
It is very tough just like fasting.

I had soda cracker and hard-boiled egg alternatively.
When I was really really really really super starving, I had meehoon with belacan to act as cayenne!

Hahaha…very idiot and not practical right?
YES I KNEW IT!!!!
Why not just give it a try?

And.......
All the pigs around me, let go of me.
(erherm...blame my piggishness on others)

5 days left…yeeeheeeeee!

December Air

I get hot in December air. I’m sweltering here in my hostel room. It’s just so effing hot. Last night, I felt so hot and by the time I got up in the morning, I was in sweatiness with my singlet on. Why my room is like an oven?!! Poor air circulation (I opened the window and the door, like a open house) Worse thing is, out there is so windy...
a watermelon by the beach is the best way to shooo the heat away

I get wet in December air. Sometimes it’s pouring rain. It took two days to dry my clothes and it is wet everywhere. I can draw on the window when it is raining out there.

The weather is making me go Oh-Oh-Gila!!!

I get excited in December air. Mayday is coming back with their latest (might be the last one) album before the world ends at 2012. Yay! From now on, I gonna Mayday my Decemberdays and get ready to board their Noah's Ark.

I get a little blue in December air. It’s just two more months till we will go our separate ways. It’s so hard to say goodbye. Memories are sweet, cherish it. Let’s make more memories.

cute right? I ciplak this from the internet

It’s time to review the past of this year and plan a new resolution for a new year!

Life is short. Live it!
(nothing related to December air. I just simply wanna quote this)

Suria The Elephant

I watched elephants doing massage, I watched them cycling, I watch them kicked football, I fed them with sugarcanes, and I always want to ride on them.

The samseng kaki went to a nearer elephant sanctuary after a revisit to Kenyir Lake. For Kenyir Lake, we went to Saok Waterfall and the Herbal Garden again, and the boat driver gave us bonus to catfish sanctuary.

Due to the monsoon, the lake was not as beautiful as it was in last April. I wonder why everyday rain but the water level was lower than previous and then we have to walk to the waterfall. I wonder how. I wonder why.

Last time the boat can reach to the red arrow there and I can’t even see the ground, rocks and grasses.

Dear Rain, Please Stop! 2.0

It’s monsoon again. This wet season wet the city and every day’s a wet day.

I remember when I first returned to this city on early January. It was the tail of monsoon. It rained nonstop and I had to walk to classes under my little foldable umbrella. That time, I desperately wished for a shelter along the way for me to hide from the raining clouds.

And I just realized the Ultimate Universe listen to my prayer and He made them build the shelter. So now, no more worries of get wet through.

Sigh, raining again today……. and I think tonight also will rain.

Ms.Sunshine? Mr.TwinkleTwinkleLittleStar? Where are you?

Let’s finish the hide and seek, okay?

Breakaway to Sg. Lembing – LaoZi Temple (Day 3)

It rained for day and night after all the rainbow thing. We woke at 4.30am to prepare for Panorama Hill but it was still raining. So we back to bed and hide under the sheet. Well, I’m okay with that since I already went up last year. So whatever…...But I couldn’t sleep well after that and I can’t sleep anymore.
So I went out to see the rain...walked around the village again in the rain, and see aunty make lembing noodles.

Then we checked out and went to visit the Sungai Lembing Mining Museum before we left this lovely town. Nothing special there.

Then we went to Lao Zi Temple.
Here are some photos of Lao Zi Temple. Let the photos speak!

Breakaway to Sg. Lembing – Rainbow Waterfall (Day 2)

Last year, when Isabella and I came to Sg.Lembing, my friend Hooi brought us to the Rainbow Waterfall after a hike to Panorama Hill. We actually wanted to enter the waterfall without a guide, but we didn’t know the path was so rocky and muddy, somemore have to cross stream (the aftermath of never find information of the place before we come). With his dad’s luxurious car, we cancelled the trip and turned back. But we found the very special Hot Spring and saw some deer~ hahaha!!

Why Rainbow Waterfall? According to previous studies, the tiny water droplets from this high waterfall will create a rainbow effect when the sunrise rays shine on it. Hence, this waterfall got its colorful name for this phenomenon. Rainbow colour, my favourite colour, yay!!

Since getting to the place was not an easy way, this time we hired a guide. We woke up very early to get ready to Rainbow Waterfall. Thanks to the Universe, NO RAIN!! Our 4-wheels jeep came to pick us up at 5.30am in front of the place we stayed.

We went to the market for breakfast first. We had the famous Yong Tau Fu as light breakfast.

After that, all of us boarded the jeep and start the journey on the rocky and muddy path. It’s fun when all of us talked crap and nonsense along the way, full of laughter.

Breakaway to Sg. Lembing – Day 1

I just mentioned I didn’t wanna go to any mountain/hill and sea/river/waterfall anymore in the previous post, but after a week, sigh…… I broke my promise~

Last Deepavali, me and some course mates went to Sg Lembing for a short holiday! That was my second visit to Sg Lembing since last year in early November. Wow, it’s already one year ago! And I kinda miss the people I met and friends I made during the days in Rompin.

It rained everyday in this monsoon. Every day we pray. We pray to every God and to the Universe for bringing us sunshine, at least on the day we go to Rainbow Waterfall. I always believe the Great Universe can hear my prayers. And yes, He did it again!!

We checked in Lembing Riverview Resort. I like the place because it is in a village, peace and calm. We were the only residents in the house for those days. So we turned the house into “our” house. We had games and karaoke in the night. We celebrated friend’s birthday there too.

Kuching *Kucing and Food*

This will be the last entry of Kuching trip. As promised, I’ll show you the Kucing Kuching/Kuching Cat before I start to stimulate your salivary gland with food in Kuching!! Hahaha!

I didn’t see any living cat in Kuching town. All the cats I saw were either statues or souvenirs.

We walked around the town on the last day in Kuching.

12 October 2011

Kuching *caves*

I was pretty curious in the natural reserve caves in Sarawak. I didn’t have time to Mulu Cave or Niah Cave, so I went to two small caves which are about an hour driving distance from Kuching. They are Wind Cave and Fairy Cave which located near to the town of Bau.

Welcome to Wind Cave.

Entrance to the cave is Rm3 for adult or Rm1.50 for student. It’s pitch-black inside the cave. So we rented torchlights.

Ready to explore!

My Cat Story

I just finished the blog entry about two caves I explored in Kuching. but I just can’t stop myself thinking about CATS!!! So I gonna write about CATS first.
Before I show you the Kucing Kuching, let me tell you how the Kucing Terengganu pissed me off.

I personally dislike cats and dislike turned into hatred after I lived in Terengganu. Terengganu cats here are huge like a baby tiger (we call it cub). They are slow and lazy. They sleep on sofa, table and chair. They jump on the table for food, when you are dining. They jump on the chair to share your seat. They sneak in your room to sleep. The baby kittens sleep in your shoes somemore. They will never bother you whenever you walk near or try to chase them away. As Malay is the major population here and they really like to take cats as pets, so these four-legs-furry-creatures-with-whiskers are the boss here!! Sometimes I doubt…they don’t know the existence of dogs on earth. That’s why they are so arrogant. You can’t blame me for hating them, because they are really so annoying and trouble-makers they are.

It was a lovely evening. Before I went out for dinner with my direct junior, I saw a box of cats in my house. A mother cat and 4 newborn kittens. Gosh. So must be the kindhearted Malay housemates brought them back. Later then, the mother cat will make here her house, walk around in the house, the kittens run here run there, sleep in my shoes, and meow for day and night!!! *Benci* I gonna chase them out, but the mother cat was so fierce, keep staring at me.

The mother cat was gone after I went back. Yay, action now! So I moved the whole box of baby kittens out to the corridor, about 10 meters away from my house. Clear!! Then I went for a shower. After that, I heard "meow meow meow" faded in and out in my room. I thought the cat was outside the window. So I didn’t bother. Suddenly, the mother cat appeared. She was under my bed just now, with a baby kitten in her mouth. AHHHHHHH!!!!! Very disgusting! Screw it! Then she walked out from my room, and I guessed she came from the window.

"wtf you...Cat, you came for revenge is it?"

Then I shut the window, left it ajar. I think this time she can’t jump in anymore. But no! I was wrong!

After an hour then, she jumped in again. I didn’t know how she squeezed herself to the partially opened window and jumped in with a baby kitten in her mouth again, all in a sudden with a loud bang on the window. I was panic and screamed. That was so disgusting to see her hold the kitten in her mouth. Then I chased her out and she showed me the cat face, stared at me like I had killed her whole family.

"Yo you Cat. Your babies are all out there. Stop torturing your kitten with your mouth and frighten me with it. Go back to your box."

After her second strike, I shut all the windows. Completely. I didn’t open the windows for two days after that. I was breathless in the room.

A few days later, I saw the box disappeared. Must be someone moved them to another place. Yay. There are gone!!!! I can now open the windows widely and breath.

But good times don’t last long.

The damn cat made her third intrude from the partially opened window again. Damn!! With the very tiny kitten in her mouth again!!! She walked under my bed from the open drawer and hide inside, didn’t want to come out.

I’m not afraid of the cat, but the scene with a kitten in a mouth is just so eerie to me. The mother was like holding some dead meat in her mouth and the kitten was like a dead meat, like a toy to the mother. Disgusting~

I have no idea to get rid of the cats. I asked for help from the Malay housemates. They brought broom to get them out, meow meow meow to attract them.

“Oi You Cat! You better come out. STRESSSSSS!!!”

10 minutes has past. The mother cat was sooooooooo degil and stoned in there. Then the Malay girl removed the bed and the bed board, and she caught them out. At first I kinda worried the damn cat will attack her, but luckily she didn’t. So the cat which came for revenge has gone, not too far, still outside my house. I don’t know which kindhearted animal lover give them a new house- a new and larger box. Good job. The windows of my room will be forever shut. And that night was the night of the year with the most rude and harsh words. STRESSSSS!!!

So this is my Terengganu Cat story, a very hateful one full with hatred. Some said I’m the one who started the “battle”. Okay, I did move the cats out of the house, but this is my house!!!! They came in my room like a thief and frighten me off thrice. I know it’s simply so childish to kira with a cat, but….speechless wtf!! I'm so stressed out because of you CAT!!!

Eiihh, where’s the Kucing Kuching? Sorry, gotta leave it for the next entry. =.=
and the Kucing Terengganu is still meowing outside my window. STRESSSSSS!

The Monkey Business & The Crocodile Tears

Jeng jeng~~ Actually this post has nothing to do with any silly monkey business and insincere crocodile tears. It's literally about monkey and crocodile. Actually is not monkey also, because they are apes (orangutan)

First, I’ll bring you to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre aka Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.

We went there at 8am so that we can catch up with the first feeding session at 9am. It’s about 30 minutes away from Kuching and the entrance fee was RM3 but we paid RM1.50 only for student price. Haha!

24 September 2011

Kuching *Culture*

Every mid of the year, me and my high school all-time buddies will plan a trip to somewhere. We are all poor students with bonded loan, so local will be good enough for budget wise.

This year, we have chosen Kuching, Sarawak.

The first place we went was Sarawak cultural village which is in Damai, about 40 minutes-drive away from Kuching.

18 September 2011

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

It was the fourth day in Bangkok. We checked out from Khao San and went to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. It took about 2 hours to reach there. I was the lucky one who took a cab with another 4. The rest were so pity...11 of them squeezed into a 7 seater car for more than 4 hours (go and return), some more full-loaded with luggage in the boot and also on top. swt~

Like this.

On the way to Damnoen Saduak, we had a funny conversation with the cab driver, Nana. He can speak and understand easy English, but most of the time he misunderstood us! We asked this, he answered that, yet it was still funny. He also taught us some easy Thai. Like soi-mak-mak is very pretty, kalo-mak-mak is very handsome, and wuan-mak-mak is very round!! It means fat larrr~

It was a long long journey, so after a while, the rest were all slept. When I started to feel sleepy and closed my eyes, Nana said we are going to reach the floating market in about 5 minutes. Alaaaa...ish ish ish!!!

11 September 2011

Lucky Draw

Last few weeks, I went for a KL day trip together with my mom and other aunties from the same residence. They always organise trips to some where. Aunties uncles nowadays are very sporting and hot!! I will tell you where we went in the next post.

I write this post because I want to tell you that I finally get something from a lucky draw!! I cannot remember when was the last time I won in a lucky draw. I usually don’t have the luck.

We went to FusionExcel in Shah Alam, namely the World’s largest seller of scalar energy product.

9 September 2011

The September Scholar

Finally get my new laptop after a few circumstances and I'm back in the cyber world! Yay~

I have so much to blog and to share with you. One more chapter from Bangkok trip, more more chapters from Kuching trip a few weeks ago, and some places I went during Raya break and Merdeka Day.

It's already the second week of September. Starting from next week, my 4 months holidays come to an end and I will be back as a normal student. No more sleep at 3am and wake at 12pm. Must study hard and concentrate on my FYP as this will be my last academic semester. I definitely will!!

I had gain so much weight as I did nothing in these 4 months besides sleep eat shit. Mom prepares delicious food everyday but light swimming for an hour a day is not enough to balance the calories in and out. Back in campus, I have to walk at least 30 minutes a day, no more mouth-watering food and less sleeping time. hehe...it's the perfect time to lose some weight!!!

Gonna start packing, and wondering who will be my new roommate and housemate...*bulb*

I just played with the built-in webcam. Haha!! It was fun =)

want to study or not?

Oh! White Angel comes!

But Red Devil also comes!

Oh! White Angel comes again, wants me to study!!

But Red Devil also comes again, asks me out to play

how how how???!
What should I do?

Red Devil won. I wanna go to bed already!
